Consumer Report - a nationwide search listing an employee's credit history, which may also include liens, judgments, bankruptcies, public records. Fee: $25, signed release required.

Statewide Criminal History Systems Board (CHSB) - this search provides a statewide history of criminal convictions for felonies committed within the last five years and misdemeanors committed within the past 12 months (as described in the Massachusetts C.O.R.I. statute). Fee: $50, including the $25 CHSB search fee.

Superior and District Court Litigation - this search includes criminal and civil records. Fee: quoted per search

MCAD Litigation - a search by plaintiff and defendant for complaints filed with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Fee: $25

Driving History - this 7-year history of an individual's driving record is obtained from the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Fee: $35, including a certified copy.

Resume Verification - verification of all elements in an employee's resume. Fee: $45

Social Security Number Trace - this is a nationwide search that lists all names and addresses used with a SSN; provides information relative to the year and state in which the SSN was issued; and determines if any credit card fraud is associated with the SSN. This search also identifies whether reported addresses are mail drops or business addresses. Fee: $25

Corporate Affiliations (Massachusetts only) - this cross-reference search of an individual’s name finds out if a person is, or has been, an officer or a director of any Massachusetts corporation. It may also provide information on UCCs and tax liens. Fee: $25

Workman’s Comp Search (Massachusetts only) - this search lists information on claims of injury on the job, including date of injury, date of claim, status of claim, and comp carrier. Fee: $25

Professional License Search - this search documents professional state licenses held by an individual (in Massachusetts only). Information includes the license number, year of issue, and current status of the license. Fee: $25

Military Verification - this search verifies an individual's honorable discharge from the armed services. Fee: $25

Federal Bankruptcy Search - Fee: $25 (Massachusetts only)

Federal Civil Party Search (Plaintiff and Defendant) - Fee: $25 (Massachusetts only)

Federal Criminal Party Search (Massachusetts Districts) - Fee: $25

All of the above fees are for searches within Massachusetts only. Information available from other states varies greatly, and fees for out-of-state searches are quoted on an individual basis.
